It's hard to know exactly when to stop... I like for a painting to look a little unfinished, kind've like my hair. But sometimes I just can't find my brush, hairbrush that is! (Chris Bolmeier)

I play a CD and when the music stops the painting is supposed to be finished. But if it isn't finished I throw myself on the floor... sometimes I will play the same CD over and over again until I'm finished. Because suffering is compulsory with painting if you must, and I must. (Chris Bolmeier)
